Verification Assistant

The “Verification Assistant” service is intended to provide assistance to the financial aid office that is easy to use and completely electronic. Our team of financial aid experts become a virtual extension of your office without the expense and time of hiring and training new staff.  We supplement existing school resources, but do not supplant them.
 
Federal verification forms along with supporting documentation are uploaded to ProEd’s secure web site. After the verification process is completed by ProEd consultants, the results and original documentation are archived by ProEd’s on our secure web site where they are easily retrieved by your aid staff.
 
ProEd’s Verification Assistant provides a complete audit trail, including who reviewed the documents, the date of review, and the recommended action. In addition, there is a complete archival system so that college staff can retrieve documents on line for each day, week, month or year. Documents can also be retrieved from previous years.

Discounts are available for colleges that choose to use both services.
